The quickest run is straight up Prospect Highway — about 3.8 km and eight minutes from the Seven Hills shops and station, traffic permitting. Prospect Highway takes you north into Blacktown; from there it is a short hop across to Richmond Road.

If Prospect Highway is backed up, the Bungarribee Road route is the usual alternative at roughly nine to ten minutes and a kilometre further. Either way you are looking at under fifteen minutes door to door outside of peak.

There is plenty of parking at Blacktown Showground, directly across the road and about a three-minute walk from our door. That sounds like a small thing until you have circled a shopping-centre car park with a restless child in the back seat, which is the usual alternative in this part of Sydney.

It also means we are an easy stop on the way through rather than a destination you have to plan around. Plenty of our Seven Hills regulars come in on the way home from work rather than giving up a weekend morning.
